Everything here is done with purpose from our hand made ancient grain sourdough smuggled in from Naples, to the choice of music and the design of our pizzeria. We’ve been making pizzas since 2012, starting from the streets of Brighton with an oven that we built on wheels, to touring festivals and pop ups across Europe. Now, we are permanently based in South East Asia as we continue to make real Neapolitan pizza accessible to the world.
Our pizzas follow strict Neapolitan tradition, but with our own rebellious edge. We ferment our dough the slow way. We bring our family harvested oregano in from the Pelion mountains of Greece. We work directly with local organic farmers in Northern Thailand. We don’t just import the best DOP charcuterie and dairy from Italy we search for them obsessively, visiting farms and learning about our producer’s heritage. And we do it with no shortcuts, no compromises. Just unapologetic Neapolitan pizza, served in a space built from the soul.
We are certified by AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) – the guardians of true Neapolitan pizza. But we’re not here to be polite imitators. Garden Grove takes the fire of Naples and drives it through punk soul, the road years as travelling pizzaioli, through to present day Chiang Mai.
For over a decade, we travelled across the UK and Europe, slapping pizzas for the masses, rain or shine.
We came here with intention. To bring real Neapolitan pizza further afield, without losing what makes it matter.
Our dough doesn’t come from a shelf. It’s rebellion in 4 ingredients: flour, water, salt and wild instinct.
