For over a decade, we travelled across the UK and Europe, slapping pizzas for the masses — rain or shine. From weddings to urban dwellings, street food spots to festival plots, we trailblazed the circuit with 3 mobile pizzerias and the most overlooked ingredient in Neapolitan pizza: passion.

The road made us. Chiang Mai gave us roots.

Our History
An American family business with a long history of coffee making. Best coffee shop in the city.

About Us

Our pizzas follow strict Neapolitan tradition, but with our own rebellious edge. We ferment our dough the slow way. We bring our family-harvested oregano in from the Pelion mountains of Greece.

Everything here is done with purpose—from our hand-made ancient grain sourdough smuggled in from Naples, to the choice of music and the design of our pizzeria.

Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily operations, maintain high-quality service standards, and promote our commitment to Neapolitan sourdough pizza. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, experience working with high volume numbers, and a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with AVPN standards
  • Lead, train, and develop a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and quality assurance
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and maximizing profitability
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our restaurant and attract new guests
  • Monitor inventory and supplier relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients

Front of House Staff

Job Summary

Join our Front of House team, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests who have come to our restaurant to try real Neapolitan sourdough pizza. We expect you’ll be as committed as us in delivering top-notch service while promoting our dedication to traditional Italian culinary heritage

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and seat guests, providing information on our Neapolitan pizza offerings and our specials board
  • Take orders traditionally with pen and paper, and share insights about our authentic ingredients, preparation methods and Neapolitan history
  • Use our POS system to manage orders, tables, payments and bookings
  • Be the go-to person on the floor for anything customer related
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, drinks area, and front of house area, reflecting our commitment to quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen and other waiting staff to facilitate timely service and guest satisfaction

Pizzaiolo

Location : Soi 5, Nimman, Chiang Mai

Job Summary

Join our team as a Pizzaiolo, specializing in Neapolitan sourdough pizza and adhering to standards set by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN). Garden Grove has been making Neapolitan pizza and winning awards since 2012, using high quality ingredients and traditional techniques. We want you to join us in continuing our journey to make real Neapolitan pizza accessible, right here in Chiang Mai

Key Responsibilities

  • Following the phases of puntatura, staglio, appretto and mozzare (preparing the dough, leavening and shaping and cutting of the dough balls)
  • Hand-stretching the sourdough following AVPN guidelines, and making different types of Neapolitan street food with different dough shapes. This includes Doppia Cottura, Pizza Montanara, and our unique fried pizza cones 
  • Prepare high-quality ingredients sourced both locally from Thailand, and the Campania region of Italy. Examples include crushing San Marzano tomatoes by hand, and making unique cheese fondues
  • Be experienced working with a large wood and gas fired oven at 450 degrees Celsius, cooking up to 8 pizzas in one time in 90 seconds, while maintaining consistent quality
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and front of house to manage order flow and present a high- quality product
  • Be a natural leader and who can guide and support the needs of his/her team
